Hair Loss Remedy For Men

There are various ways to stop hair loss, increase hair density and in some cases, really cure hair loss. Before starting a new health regimen, you should see a hair specialist or at least a general practitioner.

One cure for ‘hair loss men’ (which is also known as ‘hårtap menn in the Norwegian language) can be found only with changes in shampoo. Most medicine stores have shampoos that help cleanse the pores but no clinically proven ones can help. If you want to avoid shampoo additives, make sure your shampoo has a pH of 5 to 5.5.

If you don’t know what your shampoo pH is, most salons or beauty supply stores can help you choose the right one because most shampoos don’t state the pH on the bottle.

Laser therapy can increase circulation which causes hair growth, has no side effects and can be done in the comfort of your own home. Two topical treatments consist of scalp cleansers and oil restorations, oils that have clinically proven ingredients that promote hair growth.

The most drastic healing of hair loss for men is hair transplantation. There are two methods, FUT, which are cheaper, but you have a piece of the scalp and then each hair follicle is put back into the desired area.

The second method is far more pleasant and almost painless: the FUE technique. A small punch, measuring less than one millimeter is used to remove each follicle one by one and then they are put back in the same way as FUT, but without pain and no scars.

Types of Hair Transplantation

Hair loss remains one of the main concerns of millions of people around the world, especially men. This is caused by various factors such as hormonal changes, aging, family history, and trauma such as burns. Usually, it is the case that early hair loss starts, the more severe it will become. Hair replacement surgery or hair transplantation may be a good choice to consider as a reconstructive treatment for baldness.

‘Hair transplantation’ (which is also known as ‘Hårtransplantasjon’ in the Norwegian language) involves taking some parts of the bald immune scalp and moving them to the bald area. The bald-resistant scalp area is found on the side and behind the head.

In general, there are 3 types of hair transplant methods-

Surgery of the Follicular Unit Strip (FUSS) – In this procedure, a haircut from the donor area is taken and implanted in the thinning or bald area. The suture is then used to cover the donor area. The area will need several days to recover. This procedure is best for average to extreme bald cases because it allows multiple grafts to be transplanted in one session.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) – This procedure is newer and more popular than the first. What happens here is that strands of hair are transplanted from the back and sides of your head in groups of one to four, because this is how hair grows naturally. Another advantage of this procedure is that it does not involve large and deep cuts. Thus, the recovery time is shorter and the scars appear less.

This type of hair transplant is rarely done. The bald area is removed surgically and the hair’s scalp is stretched to replace what has been removed. This method is very expensive. It can also increase the likelihood of tightening the scalp, which will only cause thinning.

If you are considering undergoing a hair transplant procedure, you must first understand that the coverage you have before hair loss will never be returned. What this surgical procedure can do for you is to make your scalp reach fuller and cover the thinning area. Make sure you understand the whole process before you consider experiencing it.
